Send me your best blog post of 2007

It's not too late! Send me your best blog post of 2007!
The list will go up this week! Best posts have been trickling in by e-mail, but I want more, more, more!

What was your best blog post of 2007? Send me a link, either in the comments here or by e-mail (kurinboism[at], so I can put it in a post here. And consider doing this with your own blogroll. There's a lot of good writing out there. Let's point it out.
(Idea by Jon Swift)

  1. my readers are voting even as we speak. and i've asked them to send their best blog entries over as well

  2. Do you mind if we send in our best? Those of us not in your blogroll, I mean.

  3. i can't believe a rabid ex-mormon like yourself hasn't made it on to kuri's blogroll

  4. Rick,
    Sure, the more the merrier.

  5. Hey Kuri,

My post is not so much a written post, but it mainly features a video I did.

    I hope it still counts...

  6. Ugh,

I don't think the whole thing posted...please let me know if you need me to resend the link...

  7. Thanks Sky Windows, I found it on Stephen's blog.

  8. Well, I don't wander into a real live LDS member's blog often unless I have a great reason. A Brahnamin recommendation is a great reason in my book.

It's been 10 years this month since I was excommunicated, and 10 years +4 months since they held my "court of love."

But, by poking around a bit, there's a lot of really good content here. It's rare that I find anyone else who reads more than a book a week - Kuri, your reading list is very nice (by nice I mean similar to mine).

I'm going to put up a post in the morning similar to yours, brahnamin, where I ask people to vote among my top 5 or 6. Kuri can see a good sampling of what I write via that list . . . then it's up to him if he wants as rabid an ex-mormon as myself anywhere near his blogroll.

  9. I'll get back to you later today...

  10. Thanks Rick. I appreciate the kind words.
But I don't know about having ex-Mormons on my blogroll... :)
Actually, Curmudgeonly and Isla Sky at The Mutt's Nuts are former Mormons and good friends, so it won't be anything new.

  11. ***Actually, Curmudgeonly and Isla Sky at The Mutt's Nuts are former Mormons and good friends, so it won't be anything new.***

Yes, but CV Rick's an...dare I say it?...excommunicated Mormon, so that makes him very, very evil compared to Isla and myself. Shudder.

  12. Check your mail...

  13. I'm gonna go with Sins of the Father. That seems to be everybody's favorite.

The link is over on my blog in the voting post.

What do you think?
