  1. With regard to the Rolling Stone article, many politicians are handmaidens of the banks and corporations that fund their campaigns. The interests of the voters come in second place, at best.

    As for Hinkle, I'm noticing a pattern here...

    I follow Harris' blog, but I don't subscribe to his newsletter, which means I had to Tweet my reply: "Shermer lost me with his Rand stance, but you're rocking my blogroll bigger than ever with yours."

    Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

    Although Rand wasn't exactly a conservative, she and her followers epitomize something John Kenneth Galbraith said: "The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness."

    Coulter is low-hanging fruit, but once in awhile I can't resist picking.
