I watched that GOP debate when Paul was booed for advocating the Golden Rule. Even though I knew Paul was unlikely to find many friends in that redneck crowd, I was still stunned that people who claim to believe in Jesus are so hypocritically selective when it comes to Jesus's #1 rule. Exceptionalism overload.
