  1. That 1-percenter article is hilarious!!

    Also, the troll article is fascinating. I've always known that huge swaths of reddit have the reputation that, well, you'll never see a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. Yet I've found exmo reddit consistently really cool. And when I say that, I do mean that one of their coolest aspects is their non-censorship (unlike certain other exmo sites I won't mention).

    I think the exmo reddit community has done a good job of demonstrating that it's possible to value free speech without loving assholery.

  2. Yeah, it is pretty cool. It's self-regulating, too. Whenever I've seen someone make trollish comments on that sub, they just get downvotes and "C'mon man, be reasonable." I don't think the mods have actually banned more than four or five people in the year or so I've gone there.
